The first couple of times I ordered beer at Cafe Van Kleef it was flat. Now I stick with mixed drinks. I like the freshly squeezed juice drinks especially.
The other night my friend and I were drinking Greyhounds (vodka and grapefruit juice) and they were GREAT!

I just took a friend of mine for her first trip to Van Kleef's, and she enjoyed her old fashioned. You can't go wrong with any of the mixed drinks there, especially a freshly squeezed Cosmo or Kamikaze.
I also highly recommend the pilsner they serve there. -
